Call To Chef: A Local Seafood Experience
Local restaurants & chefs are invited to participate in a local seafood festival, inside the larger Destin Seafood Festival. This is a 2-day ticketed event, where chefs will prepare a signature dish for the attendees to sample inside a gated VIP area.
Restaurants are signing up to participate both Saturday September 28 + Sunday September 29. There is a chef / sponsor / VIP party on Friday evening September 27 that all chefs / restaurants will be invited to with food, live music, and more.
Categories to enter include: Apps/Salads/Soups, Entrees, or Desserts. Chefs are competing against others in the same category.
Prize Money is awarded for each category:
1st Place Judges: $2500
2nd Place Judges: $1000
People’s Choice: $500
A $1000 stipend will be provided to all participating chefs/restaurants.
If you are interested in participating in both the Call to Chef side AND selling your food to the public, send us an email. Our new layout will allow a few select vendors to have access to double sided tents allowing participation in both areas.
